UGW PROTO – the promotion tool for all digital promotions

Product- or brand-related promotions are an established and effective tool, both for short-term promotional activation and for long-term brand loyalty building.

Implementation of a wide variety of winning mechanics and participation conditions

In order to be able to offer not only the conception and visual design but also the entire technical handling of digital promotions from a single source, UGW developed the digital platform UGW PROTO(Promotion Tool). The application is offered as a software-as-a-service and specializes in the smart execution of sweepstakes, giveaway promotions, raffles, discount as well as money-back mechanisms and loyalty campaigns.

It also offers the possibility of a wide range of participation requirements for shoppers: By means of upstream qualification through winning code entries, receipt uploads with real-time verification or manual verification, quiz questions, creative competitions or location-based entries, it can be ensured that only approved shoppers are eligible to win.

Success case: “Milupa – Hiking with stroller”.

A current example where UGW PROTO was used for UGW customer Nutricia Milupa is the “Milupa – Hiking” encore promotion. By simply uploading the receipt from the purchase of participating promotional products with a minimum value of €9, participants secured a voucher code for family-friendly hiking routes and excursions in the popular outdoor app komoot. The voucher code was sent via email after a successful, automatic receipt check and could be redeemed directly at komoot. More info about this reference can be found in our UGW report.
